Performance optimizations for large & small sites

Many of the performance optimizations are only applied to larger Drupal installations, while even a one-node Drupal site will benefit from the same solutions that are applied to speed up big Drupal installations.

We start by examining what makes a site slow, and step by step will optimize and explain why certain techniques help even smaller sites. We look at it from a server administrators point of view, and how resources can be saved, and why they should be! As a side effect, your site will be ready to scale out if needed, delivering their content fluently to 10, 1.000 or 1.000.000 visitors.
