Introduction to Twig with drupal 7 (and a little bit of 8)

A recap of the session done at frontendunited, updated with the state of Twig in Drupal at the current moment. This session is targeted at themers who are confortable building and maintaining their themes by hand-coding HTML into templates. Developers and sitebuilders are more then welcome to join, as twig is most likely to become part of Drupal 8 core.

The session is divided into two parts, first a small introduction to Twig and the specific parts and tricks to start building themes with Drupal 7 in a way that they could be converted in a rather easy way into Drupal 8 (depending on how http://drupal.org/sandbox/chx/1541306 will evolve the comming months).

The second part is more of an open question/answer part where I try to answer as much questions and doubts about this template system as I possibly can. :)

Depending on the people in the audience present, the session can be in either Dutch or English. My slides will be in english as I already wrote most of them for FrontendUnited.
